Monday Night Psychodrama Club
Come and explore life through action, connection and play — as the sun sets over Coolum.
Every Monday evening, a small and friendly group gathers to step out of the everyday and into something a little more alive. Using story, movement and imagination, we explore the things we all carry — stress, relationships, big decisions, the quiet questions about where life is heading. Instead of only talking about what’s on our minds, we gently bring it into action — and that has a way of revealing what words alone often miss.
It’s warm, welcoming and — to many people’s surprise — genuinely good fun. You don’t need any experience, any acting ability, or any wish to “perform.” There’s no pressure to share more than you’d like; you simply come as you are, join a circle of good people, and take part at your own pace. Some come to shift something specific, some out of curiosity, and some simply for the connection.
Think of it as an open doorway: a free, low-key way to experience how this kind of work feels, to meet others walking a similar road, and — if it speaks to you — to take a natural first step toward deeper one-to-one work at The Coolum Institute. Come once, or make it your Monday ritual. Everyone is welcome.
When: Mondays, 6.30–8.30pm · from Monday 7 September
Where: Coolum Lions Club, 15 Russell St, Coolum Beach
Cost: Free — everyone welcome
Facilitated by Dr Patrick Pheasant · Counsellor & Founder, The Coolum Institute
High-stakes leadership doesn't stop for a commute. Our Telehealth suite is not "therapy-lite"; it is a rigorous, digitally-integrated space for professionals to engage in deep psychological work from the privacy of their own office or home.
Cognitive blocks often mirror physical confinement. Ecotherapy at The Coolum Institute breaks the traditional therapeutic frame by utilizing the natural landscape of Coolum Beach as a co-facilitator.
High-level leadership requires more than just "mindset"—it requires the ability to navigate complex psychological states in real-time. The 3Ms Training is a proprietary executive program designed by Dr Patrick Pheasant to bridge the gap between deep clinical psychotherapy and high-stakes professional performance.
