Depression, anxiety, and stress do not usually arrive with a clear announcement. They accumulate gradually — in the quality of your sleep, your patience in difficult conversations, your ability to find meaning in work that once felt purposeful. By the time the pattern is obvious, it has often been present for some time.
The DAS Self-Assessment is not designed to alarm you. It is designed to give you an honest, domain-specific picture of what you may be carrying — so that you can respond with intention rather than wait until the weight becomes unmistakable.
The three dimensions — Depression (your relationship with meaning, motivation, and positive experience), Anxiety (your nervous system’s relationship with uncertainty and threat), and Stress (the gap between demand and your current capacity to meet it) — interact with one another, and with the internal capacities measured in the 3Ms Self- Assessment. Understanding where you stand across all three is a meaningful act of professional self-care.
“The most costly blindspot is not ignorance of the world around you — it is ignorance of your own interior state.”
This assessment is suitable for your own reflection, or as a starting point for conversations with colleagues, teams, or students in professional development contexts. Answer honestly. The score is not the point — the awareness is.
If your results have raised questions about where to go from here, we work with educators and caregiving professionals individually and in retreat settings. A conversation costs nothing.
